Monthly Look Back (June,2014)

Hi and welcome to the first LookBack.
This is a monthly article that focuses on 5 games that I have played this month.

I will share my thoughts in a short and spoiler free way.
All games that I played this month are shown in a list below from newest to oldest last played.
  • MURAMASA REBIRTH (PSVita) 100% 40%
Originally started this game in May and completed little bit as the month moved on.
I really liked the atmosphere of this game, how it showed a japanese culture in a mythical way.
The environment looks like art, which looks great on the Vita.
Sadly combat is fun for awhile but gets repetitive after awhile because its too straight forward.
press X to kill
The story is where the game shines for me and is the reason I would advice people to play this game.
  • Killzone Shadow Fall (PS4) 100% 29%
The day I got my PS4 also bought one game wanted for it.
And although I originally planned not to touch my PS4 until I completed a list of games that that I wanted to finish first, I made an exception for killzone.

At first I felt that this game was not a that great and felt to mission oriented but as a progressed the game got better and better.
I am looking forward writing a review and share more of my experience with you all but for now I will first enjoy the multiplayer :)
  • RESOGUN (PS4) 23% 16%
  • Treasures of Montezuma Arena (PSVita) 10% 19%
  • Unreal Tournament 3 (PS3) 25% 7%
  • Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (PS3) 40% 7%
This is must play that sadly I found my self too occupied to play more.
When I get back to Ni No Kuni I probably put every other thing on hold so I can continue this game on full enjoyment mode.
I love the world Studio Ghibli created, its colorful and worth exploring.
The monster combat is interesting and feels simple altrouch it can be used in a more complex way.
  • GRID 2 (PS3) 10% 12%
  • Dead Nation (PS3) 100% 31%
  • Call of Duty Ghosts (PS4) 45% 11%
  • Borderlands 2 (PS3) 100% 68%
  • THE PLAYROOM (PS4) 90%
Funny enough I completed this game for most part before I even owned a PS4.
My friend was a day 1 PS4 buyer and we played the crap out of this game.

Call it a gimmick game if you want but I call fun.
And I must say that is uses the camera perfectly.
I really hope more developers will use the camera in a similar way.
  • ModNation Racers: Road Trip (PSVita) 100% 47%
  • Sound Shapes (PS4) 100%
  • No Heroes Allowed, No Puzzles Either (PSVita) 68%
No Heroes Allowed thus a great move by putting their franchise on a different type of game.
The Jewel games are always good with mobile gamers and adding their own element works.
Sadly I did wanted to see more in this game.
Its too simple and and to punishing when I reach the last stages, while I found the first stages to simple.
And I had to rely too much on luck and speed to get the job done.
Nonetheless it was and is still a fun experiences.
  • Stealth Inc. (PSVita) 100% 44%
  • The Wolf Among Us (PS3) 80% 80%
Green % are story,  Purple % are trophy.

Playstation TV Review

Also known as PSVita TV Review The Playstation TV is the way to play your favorite PSVita and Playstation classic's on the tv. Or use it as an add-on device for the PS4 to continue playing in different room if you're banished from the other one. While this sound great, sadly the PSTV is not perfect. There are enough games that have yet to get PSTV support. And if you're new to the PSVita environment don't expect to play Gravity Rush or Tearaway on the PSTV. The PSTV only support games for the PSVita that don't use or barely use the touch options of the PSVita. There are allot of things that the PSTV could support but isn't getting for now. One of those options is to play WipEout 2048 on the PSTV. While I understand that WipEout 2048 has motion controls. They don't need be there to play WipEout 2048 on the PSTV. Games like Olli Olli don't even have proper menu controls and require the use of the R3 of the Dualshock 3 and 4 or the use of t...

Thoughts of Persona 4 Arena

P4U Arrange Soundtrack EU Cover Even when i am one of the sooo many europeans that had to wait for this game to release 9 month later than the US i am still happy that it did came here. Now i could be mad and not buy the game as a response to the late release but that won't do me any good and won't do the creators and publisher any good as well. My way to show to them that they should release their games faster is to show how much i want there games. But enough about that. What are my thoughts of the game? Well there are really positive although there are still a few things i think that should have been done different. The Training mode is probably one of the best things in this game. Since it is a great way for new players to this genre or more familiar to understand the basic's of this fighter. Also this is great way to get the feel of the controls. But one thing about the controls could be startling to players is that the controls are described as like ...

No more Heroes, No more Puzzles either, Road Map & Trophy Guide

Road Map Okay I know there is not much to do wrong in this game or to miss but a few things I am going to share might help you. - First don't use any items until stage 8, stage 8.8 is going to be a pain in the ass. - Play the tutorial it might help you understand the game more. - Fusion your monsters with the right hero and the lowest level of that hero. - Get the paid pack (9 € ) or buy the bottomless pack through the game (5 € ), waiting to play a match will be a pain in the ass and time wasting since this game will require lots of time. First lets get the easy trophies out of the way. right from the menu is the secret code that your would normally only get when you beat stage 8.8. Press the Right and Left trigger repeatedly until the trophy pops. - The Cool Army Code Play a stage and created a new monster earn 2 trophies. - Combo: first blood - It's Alive If you know some one that also owns a vita, get the Ad-Hoc trophy out of the way two. ...
