Playstation TV Review

Also known as PSVita TV Review The Playstation TV is the way to play your favorite PSVita and Playstation classic's on the tv. Or use it as an add-on device for the PS4 to continue playing in different room if you're banished from the other one. While this sound great, sadly the PSTV is not perfect. There are enough games that have yet to get PSTV support. And if you're new to the PSVita environment don't expect to play Gravity Rush or Tearaway on the PSTV. The PSTV only support games for the PSVita that don't use or barely use the touch options of the PSVita. There are allot of things that the PSTV could support but isn't getting for now. One of those options is to play WipEout 2048 on the PSTV. While I understand that WipEout 2048 has motion controls. They don't need be there to play WipEout 2048 on the PSTV. Games like Olli Olli don't even have proper menu controls and require the use of the R3 of the Dualshock 3 and 4 or the use of t...

Pix the Cat Review

The return of games that feel and play like arcade games but are fresh and new at the same time made me a happy gamer. One title that also fit this bill is Pix the Cat. Pix the Cat is a mixture of pacman and snake. easy perfect  The gameplay is pretty straight forward and repetitive but nonetheless this works and is fun. The main game is a arcade version that has 3 modes that act as difficulty levels of the arcade mode. The gameplay revolves on getting a better high score by collecting ducks and getting deeper in to the stage. The first mode (beginner) and is unlocked from the start. The other modes need to be unlocked via a certain goal that mostly involves getting a better high score. Beside arcade there is a puzzle mode (labs) which involves solving puzzles in the Pix the Cat style. There is also a mode which I sadly haven't unlocked yet that involves speed run mode (nostalgia) which requires to complete a stage with a time frame. And all in a classical styl...

Ni No Kuni Review

A journey I wont forget. With so many RPG's out there its hard to find the right one. Since most of them are focused on their battle system that they forget the main reason why people to play them. What drove me was the world I had to explore and the people that inhabit them. Sadly most of the modern RPG's are grinding games which I hate because spending hours fighting to get past some bosses didn't feel epic or fun at all. Ni No Kuni did all the right things, that I wasn't done with it even after I was done with the story. Every part of the world was a delight to explore and a joy to the eyes that it is hard to explain that a few images will only do it justice for a little bit. With this world also comes a nice and memorable soundtrack that humes with me when I traverse the world. It a orchestra type of music so it isn't everyones kind of juice but works well with this game. The game may scare people away for its kiddy look, even ...

Sony Pulse Elite Wireless Headset Review

I have been promising that I would review the Pulse Elite after a few blogs that I wanted to write first and now with the the release of a patch on the PS4 for all Sony Pulse headsets I had, no I must write a review on this headset. Now the first question I ask my self is, why buy the Pulse Elite instead of a another headset and the reason is preferences. I want a headset that delivers me the option to be portable so I can use it on the go for my Vita or mobile phone but I also wanted the option to use it for voice chat on my PS3. The Pulse Elite delivers these options because it has two way to connect. One is via the USB dongle, which is used for the PS3 and other devices that have a USB port. The other way is via the 3.5mm cable which works pretty much with every mobile device out there on the market. Now why not get a headset that connects via Bluetooth? The reason is pretty simple but is supported by other functions this headset gives. The main reason is that there is ...

Tearaway Review

Tearaway o Tearaway what have you done to me. I am so addicted to you that I can't let go of you MediaMolecule the minds behind the cute and brave sackboy have brought us a new game that is this time set in the world of Tearaway. It takes the player through this world with new controls that feel at home on the vita. And while the controls are the major plus point to the game I found that the best thing about Tearaway is that the world becomes slowly a little bit unique to me. A good example is the face of an character will look like this for the rest of the game for me. The message at the end will turn unique to you and me depending how we painted our world of Tearaway. This makes the ending a blast, but I won't spoil the game for you because thats your journey to take. For all my Photos of Tearaway visit my Me page here ->  http://tearaway.me/u/GrimLink Now as to the controls they are introduced to any Tearaway player in a way so that it doesn't feel ...

Killzone Mercenary Multiplayer Experience

Boom Headshot!! A console experience on the go, who wouldn't want that. Even better who wouldn't want a First-Person-Shooter on on the go. And so after 2 mediocre FPS's on the Vita, Guerilla delivered us a fine and almost console like experience on the go. And so was my Killzone Mercenary experiences. I really enjoyed the campaign and how the story linked to Killzone 1 and Killzone 2. But what kept me the most busy is the Multiplayer of Killzone Mercenary and not because I want the trophies for multiplayer but because I really enjoy playing the multiplayer. (I do want the trophies btw) It's weird how my normal play style changed because of this multiplayer. I started to be more direct and I have adopted the smg/assault rifle as my primary weapon. It's funny since I act more sneaky and sniper like in Killzone 2 and Killzone 3's multiplayer. A 4vs4 match is a bit smaller and requires a bit more independence so that you can defend yourself when alon...

The Last of Us Multiplayer Review

With The Last of Us out for more than a month now we had to chance to experience the amazing story that is set in this game. But with this breathtaking experience comes also a surprising fun and new multiplayer experience. At first i would expect another Uncharted like multiplayer but that is totally wrong. The multiplayer takes its roots on the single player experience. Featuring the same stealth like combat. The basic of the multiplayer are set on 4vs4 team based matches. That are played on maps similar to areas found in the single player. Again you will have limited supply’s and only a few bullets in your clip so fighting another player can be an intense experience. But could also be over in seconds. Since your health goose down in only a few hits. So cover is the basic understanding of fighting back. Unlike Uncharted where gun running was the way to go. I like the way i experience every match. While the basic are the same. The way we all played changed even duri...

Guacamelee DLC Review

With Guacamelee out for some time DrinkBox now has released their first DLC for Guacamelee. While this DLC those not include much it is a fun pack indeed and a good reason for another playthrough of the game. The DLC includes a set of costumes with combat attributes that make the feel and experience of the combat slightly different. Normally you can only play with Juan or with Tostada if you played on the PS3 version with player 2. But since the latest patch Vita user could also play with Tostada as player 1. The only difference between player 1 and 2 versions of Tostada is color. The original Tostada is pink while the player 1 version is blue. Also any costumes you use for player 2 are based on Tostada not Juan. So the difference between player 1 and 2 still exists even after the patch. The DLC also added 3 new Costumes besides the patch costume. These costumes have attributes that can make you better of worse in a certain skill. The DLC comes with the Identity Swa...

Thoughts of Persona 4 Arena

P4U Arrange Soundtrack EU Cover Even when i am one of the sooo many europeans that had to wait for this game to release 9 month later than the US i am still happy that it did came here. Now i could be mad and not buy the game as a response to the late release but that won't do me any good and won't do the creators and publisher any good as well. My way to show to them that they should release their games faster is to show how much i want there games. But enough about that. What are my thoughts of the game? Well there are really positive although there are still a few things i think that should have been done different. The Training mode is probably one of the best things in this game. Since it is a great way for new players to this genre or more familiar to understand the basic's of this fighter. Also this is great way to get the feel of the controls. But one thing about the controls could be startling to players is that the controls are described as like ...

Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot mystery Review

Jacob Jones and the Bigfoot mystery is a Episode based game similar to The Walking Dead and is a point and click puzzle game with a similar style to Professor Layton on the DS. Its released on PS Vita, Iphone and PC. I played the Vita Version which i find the best version to play it on. But since everything is controlled by the Touch screen the Iphone version should also work nice. I normally don't play games that look kind of kiddy. But i made a exception for Jacob Jones since that game looked kind of interesting to me and its only €1,99 on EU PSN which is a bargain. So  if you have some spare PSN money left and you like a puzzle games then get it NOW! My opinion on the game is kind of split. One side of the elements of the game i really liked while the other elements turn me off. The art Style was the main reason i noticed this game. The toy liked characters looks really nice and beautiful on the Vita. The art like images seen in some puzzles ar...

GUACAMELEE! the experience

If there are a few games you MUST play on your Vita then this one should be on that list. Guacamelee is a special game that has the retro save the princess in a Mexican style. And it works. But how is the game play Well? It good and really fun. The combo system is easy to learn and to use for combat. Although i used most times just punching and throwing to do my bidding. Only wen i needed to i used some special moves to make a group of enemies get knocked over. Its also nice to see that you can use your combat moves for reaching areas. That would not be able to reach with normal jumping. The game also looks really nice. Its more of a drawn style but it works really well for this game. Also this game is full of references to other well known games and some miscellaneous stuff. Which i find really amusing.   The game is fun and was for me only a little challenging. Only the bosses and some parts in dungeons that required precise timing and we'll use of ju...

Super Sync Sports! Review

This fun Google Project is worth your time and sweat. Super Sync Sports! is a game you play with your phone as a controller while you look at a PC or TV screen while you rapidly repeat a movement on your phone. And this all done on your web browser. No need to download or require a certain amount of specs to run. Only a good internet connection and your set to go. The only disadvantage to this all that you are stuck to a room where a PC or SmartTV is present. Setting up a match will take you also some steps before you can play. But after this, as long as you are connected to Super Sync Sports! there is no need to wait. You can quickly repeat a match or try a another sport. This a possible thanks to HTML5 and CSS3. Yes that's code language. All you need to do is go with your Browser to the link  http://chrome.com/supersyncspor...

PS3 Super Slim Review

As promised here is my Review of the PS3 Super Slim. - Sound The Super Slim in the first fact not that loud as many claim it to be in the contrary the Super Slim is a little bit more quit than the Slim when using a Digital game. The only complain is a Disc game. Sins this is louder than the Slim but not that bad as some say. Only when your start your PS3 Super Slim when there is a disc inside you will hear the disc spin, but only the disc no other parts are making sound that you clearly hear it from your couch. Also when starting a game the disc spins and when there is a heavy part in game the disc will be heard. But that just it and I am clearly not bothered by it. The reason wy you an hear the disc spin is that the cap that conceals the BlueRay player is really thin its just a piece of plastic while the previous version had the disc deep in the system so that you could only hear a fan and hard drive make sound. If you ha...

Uncharted Fight for Fortune

Like many i was not really sure if this game would be good sins it was labeled with Uncharted. But don't be fooled by its label because it is a great game and this also the first card game on the Vita. It's stupid that no has made one before like Magic does on the PS3. It's bold that BEND brings it a Uncharted painted game but the did it well. Also this game is cheap prized and if you like me have completed Uncharted Golden Abyss the game gives you bonuses to your cards Its nice but not necessary. I like the game and its fun. And its worth your money but its not a top game. If you got some spare money check it out its fun and the first card game on the Vita. Whats your opinion share it below in the comments.

Escaping the Walkers (The Walking Dead)

Remember the Walking Dead? Well of course you do, if not you must have lived under a rock. Now i do know it but i never toke time for it except the game from Telltale Games that takes place in the same world but not with the same characters from the Walking Dead stories. The game at first looks interesting thanks to its already well now TV series. But it also looks less interesting sins the game is not the best looking game out there for us to play. But i had to see if this game was worth my money. So i tried the Demo but sadly the Demo showed not much to convince me. I hoped to get some opinions from game websites. And most said that this is game with a great story but not that much action in it. So the mainstream zombie game players would not like it but the more adventurous gamer's will love it. I agree completely. The first episode already sucked me in. And the 2 episode is even better then the first. I am happy that i bought the Season Pass instea...

Gravity Rush Review

Gravity Rush is one of those game titles I wanted before I even had a PSVita. Now I love the story its deep, interesting and Fun, but and at the end of it you will still have questions left to ask and  wishing for more answers of  Gravity Rush.   You play as the character Kat who can control gravity thanks to her strange cat Dusty who wakes up in a floating city named Heksville. This city is attacked by gravity storms which pulls away pieces from the city and is also attacked by strange black creatures who are called Nevi. Kat tries to help the city and also tries answer who she is. The controls of Gravity Rush work really nice. its easy to shift from the ground into a wall of fly around by shooting yourself in a direction. The only moment when the controls start to have issues is in air combat. On the ground it just clicking the square button and hit their weak spo...

Review PlayStation Vita

The PlayStation Vita is finally mine so it would be wrong if I did not share my opinion about it to you all that still not have one. The PlayStation Vita is the latest handheld/Portable Console experience from PlayStation which brings PS3 gaming for on the go. The front and back touch give new spin to the gameplay of many games and makes the menu a easy interface. The motion controls also give a nice new experience to gaming. But all of this control stuff can be tested the best for your self with the free game Welcome Park  which is already on the Vita the day you get it or try it in a store. Since I can't explain it my self, you need to feel to understand. But does the Vita also feel oke in your hands? Answer, yes but i did had to get used to it since I had to hold it differently (see Photo) But the main thing i love the most is the freaking OLED screen it just makes stuff look better. Good example is MotorStorm RC even wen you play it on a smal...
