Upgrading my PS3

I have been a PS3 user for more then 3 years now but after all that time my PS3 Slim some how stopped working.
Even if i have not giving up all hope i have made the decision to say that it died and bought my self a complete new PS3.
I bought the Super Slim this time and i have no regret so far.
Although there are not many Review out there i got my info for the super slim with many bit of info from around the web but mostly on YouTube.

Wen i have the Super Slim for more then a month i will post a blog post here with a Review of the PS3 Super Slim.

The only thing i can tell you that the Date Transfer from 1 PS3 to another is easy.
This is the guide i used but down i will go in more detail to some things of how i did it.

Tip1: First the transfer will cost you some time this is different on how much content you have.
so Delete any Videos or Music that you don't need on the PS3 and have backed up on a PC or the Cloud.
I have a good filled PS3 Slim but even with that it still toke me around 4hour and 30min to finish.
This seems to be fast sins i read that most poeple had problems with this and toke more then 12hour for it.

Tip2: Now don't be a fool and connect your PS3's together by a LAN cable and don't use a harddrive to move it between them.
Its true that the PS3 Slim had problem to find my PS3 Super Slim at first but this it because i was not patient enough and forgot to shutdown and start up my PS3's again after a PSN content registration has been Deactivate.
so follow the steps well from the guide and everything will be oke.

Tip3: Not really a tip but more a set of extra information for you.
The PS3 should delete the old data but mine did not do this.
Wy? not sure but if you come in this situation and completed the steps from the guide then you should format your old PS3 so that the content is gone

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

I have PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale since it its release here in the EU and I have used most of my time playing it because it is more fun how more I play it.

Like many I had the chance to play the closed beta on my Vita with a selection of a few characters.
During that time there were many game events that had this game to play.
I sadly was at none of them but I did had the chance to keep track of all the character rumors and news.
Making me more looking forward to get it and play it till my controller would break.

As I waited the open beta showed up for plus users and a week later for everyone during that time I could enjoy a little more of it before its release.

But now I have seen the final product do i still like it?
Yes i am happy with the result.
I still played it although I got all trophies on the Vita only need a good internet connection and also for the PS3.
The challenges keep me busy when there is no internet but the second I have internet and bam! I am online beating other people up (or get my ass kicked).

Is it like Super Smash Bros?
No it looks similar but its not that case.

• In Smash you tried to ring a opponent by beating him/her up as much that the fly or fall of the stage.
• In All-Stars you build up a meter to get super of kill move that kill your opponent and score with this.

The idea is almost the same since you need to play smart so that you kick and punch more than your opponent but in All-Stars the super/kill move needs also skill.

So if you play smart and know that your opponent has super/kill move and know how to evade this then his/her move was wasted.

Of course the meter thus not only build up to 1 bar but up to 3.
There 3 types of super/kill move, this different per character but even if the characters are so different the game is still balanced.

The stages in All-Stars are more diverse then Smash.

• In Smash you will always play the same matches and all the moving hazard in the stage will be timed at the same time over and over.
• In All-Stars the stages are never the same, sometimes the Resistance stage is pulled up faster in the time of the match and more bubbles are shot by the droid or 1 of the 2 or reversed. Also the stages are made of 2 franchises instead of 1.

Local multiplayer is fun but online is even more fun.

If I am with 2 friends but need an extra player I can easily add online player to the match through my own game or in the online ranked or unranked matches.

And even if there roster is only 20 characters big now the list will probably grow as the makers of the game do listen to their audience.

Where getting Kat (Gravity Rush) and Emmett Graves (Starhawk) in January and lets hope more will come not just stages and characters but also modes and more customization to Versus Matches.

Uncharted Fight for Fortune

Like many i was not really sure if this game would be good sins it was labeled with Uncharted.
But don't be fooled by its label because it is a great game and this also the first card game on the Vita.
It's stupid that no has made one before like Magic does on the PS3.
It's bold that BEND brings it a Uncharted painted game but the did it well.
Also this game is cheap prized and if you like me have completed Uncharted Golden Abyss the game gives you bonuses to your cards
Its nice but not necessary.
I like the game and its fun.
And its worth your money but its not a top game.
If you got some spare money check it out its fun and the first card game on the Vita.

Retail VS Digital games

As many game sites say and as i also notice from my friend and people i know.
People are scared of Digital games but wy sould the be?
So i decided to make a list of + and - from Digital compared to Retail games.
1. Price
This is a hard one sins can change but overall Retail will win this one for a few reasons.
First is the fact that if you take the time to search you will find a store that sells it cheaper.
But there are also some minuses as well.
A game that is brand new will be mostly the same price.
But the win will go to Retail for being the cheaper one although it should be reversed in my opinion sins Digital thouse not need a package and a disk.
Win: Retail
2. Easier to take with you
Well depends on the situation but overall Digital will win sins its super easy to log in and download and continue at a Friends console.
But if a internet connection is not present Retail is handy.
But then you have to carry stuff.
Win: Digital
3. Easier to loss or break
Well this is another win for Digital.
Wy?
Well no disc everything is stored on a cloud record under your account.
But as we all know still can loss your account if you don't secure it with a good password.
And connect it with plugins that have a bad security.
But this something that depends on the online story you use.
So always read the terms and information first.
Back to Retail, it may break, get scratches or the game maybe broken.
This can be all fixed if it was Digital.
Again this depends on the Digital store you use.
Some companies want to do everything to please the consumer by refunding them or giving you a new copy.
This may also be done for Retail but this depends on the help desk and the company behind it.
Win: Digital
4. The feeling of owning it
Well this short answer and a logical one.
We love to hold a box that shows others how awesome your collection is.
This can not be done with Digital so you own it but dont have the same feeling we have with Retail.
Thankfully we are moving slowly on the way that we buy a box with a code for the game on a Digital store.
I hope this will be done more in the future.

5. Games that have no chance on the Retail Market but do on Digital store
Thanks to Digital stores game makers can make smaller games that are lower in price that would be able to sell well on the Retail side.
Only big game titles these days survive on the Retail market.
So Indie Games and low budget games go Digital and do really well on it.
This means you can get a pack of really good games for the price that would be worth of a well known game.
So this is a win for Digital sins you can get more games for your money.
Win: Digital
I am going to quite here say don't fear Digital and try it your self and then decide for your self.
Also need help with a Digital Store or Finding cheap Games at a Retail Store Google it there are many people out there that want to help YOU!

God of War Experience

Now I have been busy catching up to allot of games that i missed for many reasons.
One of those titles is God of War 1,2 and 3.
I have played the PSP games Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta, and now in a few weeks 1 and 2 as well.
Currently busy with 3 but i wanted to share already my opinion of this Brutal game.

My Journey through God of War started with Chains of Olympus.
I loved the demo and had to get the game.
The first PSP game looked the same as the 2de God of War and comes with a interesting story that connects with the main story, like how Atlas got there and wy is mad and wy Hades hates you for killing his wife Persephone and wy you killed here in the first place.
But i did it more just for the gameplay.
I was sick of all those RPG's and wanted to just hack and slash on my PSP.
And it was really fun being the most bad ass Spartan of the world and feel Brutal even on Very Hard difficulty.

Ghost of Sparta is also interesting but was less interesting.
For me at that time sins i already had something els to focus on.
But still I made some time just for the story.
Now between 1, 2 and 3 is a huge gape sins was more interested in other games.
But i did played the God of War 3 E3 demo in 2010 wich was really fun and made it interesting to try to get the other God of War games.
Now back in 2012, 1 month from now i have picked up 1 and 2 for the PS3 in HD and started to play them just for the story and Trophies :P
1 felt old but was fun although i missed some combat stuff from newer titles.
But there where also some story things i found weird.
Wy is Madusa in a city as little bit thougher common enamy, wen here fat sisters Euriale in Gow2 has here own temple, weird he?
But the main story in Gow1 is Oke.
GoW2 felt better in every aspect compared to Gow1,
And felt sooo good but a few days ago i got GoW3 and wow.
I remembered the E3 Demo but playing it 2 years later still amazed me.

Now playing GoW3 and looking back the fantastic time i have had with this universe i have now no regrets that i continued with this game title after the 2 PSP games.
And i am totally looking forward to God of War Ascension
Wondering how the Multiplayer will turn out.
And how freaking well Kratos will look now.
Hoping the story will be good but i have total fate that will turn out well.
He did you all also enjoyed this game as much as i do, plz tell me what you think and what is the most Brutal kill from Kratos here in the comments or on my Google+ or Twitter.

Little Big Planet Vita

Like many i have been looking forward getting the ultimate Little Big Planet experience on the go.
And wen the day came we could get it we where sadly disappointed with a install error causing me 2 days of sad faces and being worried if i would get my money back.
Those where some dark days but thx to the people of PlayStation stuff turn out oke.
After this i quickly bought the fixed version.

And from that moment till now i have been in love with this jewel.
Everything just feels right and works as it should.
And next to that i get so much more games build in Little Big Planet Vita.
I am totally happy with the end result an hope to see some good community levels.
The only think i do hope the will finish soon is the option to use all customs from previous version and not the limited amount we have now.
Although the BioShock costume does a great job making me look badass.

Escaping the Walkers (The Walking Dead)

Remember the Walking Dead?
Well of course you do, if not you must have lived under a rock.
Now i do know it but i never toke time for it except the game from Telltale Games that takes place in the same world but not with the same characters from the Walking Dead stories.
The game at first looks interesting thanks to its already well now TV series.
But it also looks less interesting sins the game is not the best looking game out there for us to play.
But i had to see if this game was worth my money.
So i tried the Demo but sadly the Demo showed not much to convince me.
I hoped to get some opinions from game websites.
And most said that this is game with a great story but not that much action in it.
So the mainstream zombie game players would not like it but the more adventurous gamer's will love it.
I agree completely.
The first episode already sucked me in.
And the 2 episode is even better then the first.
I am happy that i bought the Season Pass instead separate episodes.
Sins it is totally worth your money.
Also i am happy that Telltale Games brings this game like a sort TV series
Sins the wait makes the next episode more exciting.
Even if this game has chooses which make the experience different for each player.
The game's chooses are not to much a influence to the story except the people that will live another day.

Like a good story, want a easy platinum or do you like adventure games then this is must on your list even if the game does not look great and some invisible walls exist but easily ignored by its story.

LBP Karting Beta experience

The Little Big Planet Karting Beta has ended.
But the time i had the chance to play it was wonderful, even wen i had not much time for it.

The game surprised me how well it worked and that it still felt so much like a Little Big Planet game.
It has many customization options and also a nice set of vehicles that felt different but where no different from any other type in speed or grip.
The level editor looked like the one from Modnation racers but more free to edit and move around through.

Well i wont talk more about it sins i am just like you waiting for the release of Little Big Planet Karting for my PS3.
But sins i love to use wallpapers of a game that still needs to be released i made 3 wallpaper of the only 2 screenshot i made.

Gravity Rush Review

Gravity Rush is one of those game titles I wanted before I even had a PSVita.
Now I love the story its deep, interesting and Fun, but and at the end of it you will still have questions left to ask and wishing for more answers of Gravity Rush. 

You play as the character Kat who can control gravity thanks to her strange cat Dusty who wakes up in a floating city named Heksville.
This city is attacked by gravity storms which pulls away pieces from the city and is also attacked by strange black creatures who are called Nevi.
Kat tries to help the city and also tries answer who she is.

The controls of Gravity Rush work really nice.
its easy to shift from the ground into a wall of fly around by shooting yourself in a direction.
The only moment when the controls start to have issues is in air combat.
On the ground it just clicking the square button and hit their weak spots.
But in air it will shoot you at a direction and you have to hit them on their weak spots, but you will a miss a few times with the more agile Nevi.

Which can be frustrating sometimes, but this was not a big issue for me since I quickly learned to stop in mid air attack and re-attack to make a hit and yes does less damage but its a hit and that's what counts.
Also when traversing the air in Gravity Rush you sometimes you will lose your sense direction where the ground is, this can be quickly restored by pressing the down button.
But this happens rarely so don't worry about it to much.

So the controls or not that bad as i have read on other sites but it does need some learning to make a advantage of the less accurate air attacks.

The open world is fun to explore finding strange crystal to gather for your skills so that you can upgrade them or people that talk about the world or about story's that are related to your story.

Also the world is full of challenge missions that are fun to beat and add a more difficulty to the game.

The environment is beautiful even when this game is not top notch in graphics it is still unique in how it shows the environment and even when the draw distance is not that good it is is ignored when playing the game.

The missions are a nice touch to the game making it interesting to test your skills for the gold rank and vs the world.

Now that is the funny thing the game is completely offline expect for the mission high score.

Its nice to have warp gates to make fast traveling available but I sometimes rather travel by myself since it is so much fun moving against the laws of nature.

Sadly there almost no one that talks about the Soundtrack from Gravity Rush which is really enjoyable to hear when traveling through the game.

And is Super great with the intro that you should watch your self to understand.

Now I have enjoyed this game alot and I will continue with more DLC coming to this game.

If I must rate this game with a score I would give it a solid 9 out of 10.

Gravity Rush Thoughts

Gravity Rush is one of the games I wanted before I could play it or even own a PSVita. (I bought one less than a month ago)

I love its world and story but i do agree that the combat can be sometimes repetitive and frustrating, but this is quickly ignored by everything else the game has to give. I really enjoy treversing the city using my gravity powers and it is interresting talking to people around the city of Heksville and completing challenges.

The story can be completed in only a few days, but this is also because i just wanted to explore and learn more about the story so much that it sucked me in and wanted to continue exploring, sadly the story left me with enough questions for a Gravity Rush 2.

The world is beautiful even wen the draw distance could have been better but i think it gives it a unique feel to the world.

I think that Gravity Rush is not the game for showing of the power of the Vita but it is a beautiful, technically impressive and a charming and that is really fun and must get for a vita user.

Review PlayStation Vita

The PlayStation Vita is finally mine so it would be wrong if I did not share my opinion about it to you all that still not have one.

The PlayStation Vita is the latest handheld/Portable Console experience from PlayStation which brings PS3 gaming for on the go.
The front and back touch give new spin to the gameplay of many games and makes the menu a easy interface.
The motion controls also give a nice new experience to gaming.
But all of this control stuff can be tested the best for your self with the free game Welcome Park which is already on the Vita the day you get it or try it in a store.
Since I can't explain it my self, you need to feel to understand.
But does the Vita also feel oke in your hands?
Answer, yes but i did had to get used to it since I had to hold it differently (see Photo)

But the main thing i love the most is the freaking OLED screen it just makes stuff look better.
Good example is MotorStorm RC even wen you play it on a smaller screen it still looks Beautiful compared the PS3 version on a HD TV.
And you can see everything even on a 960x544 resolution which is amazing.

The Vita also has a front and back camera and nice Photo vita app for it.
But sadly even when the camera works and looks oke
The camera and gallery in the Photo vita app are limited which is a shame.
I can only take photos and film but I can't adjust anything for lighting and focus.
And the gallery is also limited to standard folders.
All, Date created, Photos and ScreenShots.
But the last option is a great addition to make screenshots any where on the Vita and share it with friends or the world.
Which I have liked a lot, since its so easy to make one by clicking home and start at the same time then pause click home button and share on any Social vita app or Messaging vita app.

The vita also has some weak spots in the speakers.
Even when they sound okay, if you want to feel every beat you should get a good headset for the full experience.
The last thing i dislike is the battery life.
Okay I understand why its not that long because the vita needs juice for all that power its showing us.
But luckily the OLED screen is not that battery consuming compared to all the other screens on phones or other portable devices.
So that's a plus.
But as always just carry around an extra cable and portable battery and there should be no problem.

A major plus is that I can get games from the PSN store so easy like I could on the PS3.
Get Trophies and chat with other PSN users or find them all on one portable machine just makes me smile.
Its all the stuff i wanted on my PSP but did not yet have.

Now there are also people that use multiple PSN accounts and want this also on the Vita but i can understand why PlayStation decided to not add it.
Okay its a shame for the people with multiple PSN accounts but I personally think it was meant for 1 person only.

Closing comment:
Oke the PSVita is pricey but I have had the Vita only for almost a Month and so far and I am in LOVE!!
You have so much power in my hands which allows you to play PS3 games on the go or PSVita games with unique controls making Mobile game less interesting for on the go.
Photos are good but if you really want to make some photos you should get a real camera.
Chatting using PSN messaging or Skype is great no more words needed.
(For all the trophy whores) it has Trophies YEAH!

Thoughts of The Last of Us

Like many I also look forward to the release of The Last of Us.
As I have heard so far I think it would be a mature and darker version of Uncharted with the feeling that every bullet counts, like we also had in Dead Space.
Now as I have seen so far from the screens and trailers I think that this game will look amazing compared to all the games we have seen so far.
So I have high hopes for this game.
But the only thing I can not put my opinion on yet is the story.

We all know that it takes place in a world that is hit by a mushroom like virus and that there are still safe zones but Joe takes Elie out of one of those safe zones to somewhere we don't know about yet.
And that they will fight with other humans and the Mushroom monsters on the road to there destination.
Now so far this game sounds amazing and the uncharted games are also great so I am getting it for sure.

My thoughts on PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royal

Now like many PlayStation 3 owners I am really happy with PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale coming to our PS3.
But I can't stop to wonder how it plays and what PlayStation characters will be in it.
Although I have seen some screenshots and gameplay videos I want to know more about.
Damn Sony is doing a great job with teasing us.
Now for the current characters I am happy to see them, although I expected Kratos to be in it.
But comander Radec YES! sooo happy to see this bad ass Killzone character in it.

Now I would like to say like many what characters I would like to see in it.
- Ethan Mars: wy him, now i think it would be totally awesome to see him scream for Jason as a intro to the battle and i would have no idea what moves to give him
But it It's an open option.

- Loco Roco: wy this yellow blob, well it would be a nice add next to all the more serious characters.
- Mega Man: although he is not a 1st party character it would be nice to see him in it as well.

Fat Cakes (Fat Princess Review)

No I need not to warn you there is no spoilers in this Experience.

Fat Princess is a fun tactic game that revolves around two teams that fight a capture the flag like style, team deathmatch, hold location match game.
The game is set in a cute and colorful world that you and your enemies will paint red of gore.
Which looks good on both versions.
Although I prefer the PS3 version since its on a big screen and looks just a little bit better.
The PSP version offers more content for the story which the PS3 does not have.
But still I have both versions of Fat Princess wy?
Well I first got the PSP version when I still not had a PS3 and because it more fun alone and with other people in the same room.

But for online it was not that interesting on the PSP for me since i am always on the move with it, although it works fine when i am at home or near a WiFi point.
I was also happy that the PS3 version got co-op after the update and this made it fun as a party game but only for custom games, story and online.
But not for the gladiator stage which I think would have been awesome.

Now for music and sound the game does a nice job and its fun to hear all those soldiers scream in PAIN! Hehehe.
The one thing I really like about this game is its online mode that adds the real challenges to the game unlike the story.
Also i like the new special characters for the PS3.
Although at first they feel overpowered compared to the standard classes they are a nice add-on for Fat Princes and when you play with them or against them you will find their weaknesses.

Now this game is not completely perfect.
Sometimes a bug will happen but I had this problem only two times and only when did it the first time.
I had one bug for the storytelling part that when the next one happen the last frame from the first chapter also appeared.
This was fixed when I restarted the game and i did not had this problem again.
Now the second bug happened when I went online for the first time.
In it i could jump and attack but not move this was of course fixed when I quitted the game and rejoined.
Also no problem for now so far.

The gameplay is easy to learn but still there are some map tricks and tactics that are not explained but you will learn it like I did.
First in the PS3 version's online they will not tell you what a red or blue orb does.
Which sucks when you find out it switches you from teams.
Now back to some last things I love but completely my personal experience.
Is that whatever I do in a match from building or fighting it will support you and your team.
And everyone does a thing to support and switches when needed so that we can win as a team.
Now online this happens also, so that makes me happy but sadly there is no strategy in both when this can be done in online easily.

Now I don't want to make this a book so I am ending here with my closing comment saying that this game is worth a rating of 8.
Even with it flaws and bug this an entertaining game fun for both consoles.
But should be played online.
The Fat Roles DLC makes the PS3 version stand out compared to the PSP version but the story for the PS3 is to short compared to the PSP version.

Rayman Origins Review

It has been a long time since I played a Rayman game that felt this good.

Rayman Origins those not look that much like the last Rayman games but more like the first one but now with a much more colorful look.

Every level is like a art work and the soundtrack just makes the fun even better.

When I first tried this game as a demo I was sold and had to get this game.

Wy?

Well its plays sooo easy.

The controls are not that special but so simple that anyone that joins can play it form the first minute.

But still as you journey through Rayman Origins you will get more skillzz without getting more controls and that's good as well.

Its fun to see that this game came out on almost every console that is available.

Rayman Origins can be played alone but its soooooo much fun with a 2de or more players.

But there is a few things i still miss in this wonderful party game and that real story.

Oke there is a small opening video and at the there is one at the end as well but there is not that much story.

Is this a problem and thus it make the game bad ..... no.

But i would be nice if there was one.

Also a few more skins would be nice.

Oke I like the teensy, rayman and glowbox skins but other skins of enemy's or other allies would be nice.

But without these things the game is still a masterpiece in my eyes. 

It plays easy, friends can join easy, can be played any time and the funny soundtrack will leave a mark in your heart forever.

For the level design I will say not to much and just show you all some screenshots to show sins every level is a piece of art.

Now there are a few things I want to say about the difficulty of the game.

as you progress it will get harder and harder but doable for a casual player but the extras in the game will certainly be only for the more experienced players.

These are the time trials for normal levels and tooth levels which will unlock the bad ass and super hardcore undead stage that is super hard to beat.

So you will probably have to set your abilities to the limit.

But beating a super hard time trial or getting all lums is pure enjoyment when you get the job done.

For my end conclusion I have to say that this a game must get if you own a PS3 or a Xbox 360

and like to add a party game to the mix of your FPS's, RPG's and Race games.

Or if you like portable more, get the PSVita version which will also let you zoom in so that you can see the artwork of the levels better, but its less for the party gaming.

If i had to rate it I would give it a fat 9.5 like my last review.

the only reason I gave it not a 10 is because it had no real story or else it would be a 10.

A Journey trough Journey (Review)

At first sight Journey would look weird to any one that is not familiar to games from ThatGameCompany but Journey can never be judged by screens or gameplay videos.
Sins it must be played to experiences the game it self.

Journey start in a desert with with no clue who you are and what your goal is except for a big mountain with light coming from its top.
As you wander around through Journey you will have a great soundtrack in the back that adds the right mood on the right moments in game.
From only blowing wind to a wave of music buzzing from you speakers.

The game starts slowly but when you have played it for 3 minutes, you will not be able to put down your controller till the end.
And that is a good thing since it was made for a gameplay through the story from start till the end without stopping.
This journey trough Journey will give you 2 or more hours if you also play for its trophies, but every minute is worth you money.
As you travel through the land of Journey you find other players that also travel these lands.
These people can't talk or chat with you only chirp at you but traveling with them even more fun sins you don't know the real person also playing with you.
There is no load screen for when these people join you so when the appear you can just continue your journey without even paying any attention to them.

The lands of Journey do not only exist of sand there is a underground destroyed city and a mountain of snow, but I will not go to much in details because I don't want to add spoilers here.
I have experienced this game as a peaceful experience and it is not just a game like many others.
Although there can be many discussion about the story like many had with Flower you should not think too much about it and enjoy your own story through Journey.

If i had to give a score to one of my personal favorite games i have played for 2012 I would give it a 9,5

Before I start sharing my thoughts on games and review them I first want say a few things.
I have never really have taken the time to do this since I never had the time for this so when I make a grammatical mistake or any of you readers have tips for me.
